I was born in Dallas, Texas, where I still reside. I grew up with a fascination with computer games, programming, and the writings of Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Adams’ distinct, quirky humor inspired me to pen my first short story, My Life as a Pencil, when I was a young teenager.
One night in my early college days, I had a dream where my brother and I opened my bedroom closet door and found a portal that lead to Germany. Once there, we proceeded to call our parents and inform them of our new locale.
This dream sparked me to write what was eventually to become my first novel, The Merxyn Experiment, a unique science fiction story self-published in 2001. In December of 2011, I released it as an e-novel.
I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science. Still a kid at heart, though, I enjoy playing video games and watching movies. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
